This will be the first ever departmental Teaching Colloquium, modeled after the Religion Colloquium, but focused on teaching instead of research. A few invited colleagues will give short (10 minutes or less), informal presentations sharing a tip or technique, walking us through a typical class, or discussing their approach to a common challenge (e.g., getting students to read or handling out-of-class assignments in the era of AI). The idea is simply to create a space where we can learn from each other.
