This 2025 Catholic Studies lecture features John McGreevy, Provost of the University of Notre Dame, presenting "Catholicism Represented: Democracy, Rebellion & Global History, 1789-2025".
McGreevy will examine the long and tangled modern history of Catholicism and democracy, with one eye toward its implications for the study of global history and another toward our understanding of the present moment.
