Student James de Marcellus wrote a published essay on the Black Catholic experience in Virginia, including the challenges of healing and evangelization, Post-Vatican II liturgical shifts, and the synthesis of African-American and African Catholic experiences. It was completed under the guidance of Prof. Flores and with the support of the St. Anselm Institute.
