UVA Mormon Studies and the Forum on Religion and Democracy will hold a panel discussion on the nature of religious belief and belonging in 21st-century America, with a special emphasis on the Latter-day Saint experience. The panel will examine the impact of media on religious identity, the rise in personal spiritual practices, and institutional church disaffiliation and negotiation.
