Professor Shelly Matthews to Give Lecture on Fleshly Resurrection and Wifely Submission

Shelly Matthews, Professor of New Testament at Brite Divinity School and a feminist exegete who has published widely on the book of Acts and on women in early Christianity, will give a public lecture at 6:15PM in Nau 211 entitled “Fleshly Resurrection, Wifely Submission, and the Myth of the Primal Androgyne: The Link between Luke 24:39 and Ephesians 5:30.”
